Description
Spotting a saw-whet owl active in the daytime has never happened to me before. I almost always find them tucked deeply within a dense tree, trying their best to sleep through the noisy chickadees calling around them. This individual flew out in front of me and perched in a dense thicket, providing me with a great view of the bird's adorable stature & bright yellow eyes.
